Buy TicketsLeading land-based training and awarding organisation Lantra will be leading the ‘Training Hub’ offering CPD/taster sessions throughout February 7th at DairyTech 2024. Exhibiting in partnership with our approved training provider, Jimmy Hughes Training, these will cover advice and guidance to help keep you save on the farm when going about your daily routine of handling and moving cattle, the use of machinery and general livestock health.
Situated on Stand E14, close to the catering area there will be sessions running at set times, with experienced industry professionals on hand to offer advice in between. Lantra’s Head of Industry Partnerships, David Fisher will also be available to answer any questions you may have about training and qualifications for yourself or your staff to ensure you are keeping everyone safe and meeting requirements of the HSE.
- Session 1 – 11.00 and will focus on Health & Safety on Farms
- Session 2 – 12.00 and will focus on Better Livestock Handling for you and your herd
- Session 3 – 14.00 and will focus on Livestock health and what to do when you spot a problem
