THE DAIRY GROUP – MCi Dairy Emissions Manager

A unique web tool to help dairy farmers to understand and manage their dairy emissions.

Our Dairy Emissions Manager enables dairy farmers to enter their key data monthly to enable reporting of their dairy emissions for any time period. The report also provides the physical data to allow entry in to any emissions system when required.

Our system uses the same data as used for monthly dairy costings to save the duplication of data recording. The data entry is flexible by using specified date ranges for the key inputs.

Many alternative systems typically record emissions each year, whereas our Dairy Emissions Manager allows the dairy farmer to record the information monthly and then to be able to report for any time period rather than having to wait until requested by a third party for a historic time period.

The data collection is flexible either via web entry, via our APP or via a bureau service. We also provide additional tools to help with the understanding of dairy emissions including our Relative Feed Value calculator which provides both the £ value together with the emissions value for the different feeds.

This unique development is the culmination of a 3 year Innovate UK project in conjunction with Nottingham University and QMMS.
