Engineered fibre rope solution transforms slurry industry

Light-weight, high-strength, rot-resistant HMPE fibre ropes have been especially developed for slurry scraping machinery. Marlow engineers a range of ropes ideally suited to this application and other dairy farm equipment.

Marlow’s newly innovated Scraper Rope has a low-stretch, high-strength 12-strand HMPE fibre construction. It is protected with a hand-applied polyurethane coating to improve abrasion resistance and protection from the ingress of dirt, grit and slurry, allowing improved technique and productivity and enabling the longer-life span of machinery.

Thanks to the extreme high strength of the HMPE fibre, it offers a safer, light-weight alternative to wire rope, easier handling and inspection for workers and livestock.
