Healthy Herd Pasteuriser

The Healthy Herd Pasteuriser is designed and manufactured in the UK to meet the growing demand from farmers wanting to feed ‘sustainable’ home produced warm milk to calves.

This simple affordable system uses heat exchange technology to warm and/or pasteurise milk in any vessel from 100L up to 400L.

It can be used directly in an existing tank or milk cart. Pasteurising or warming functions are two options selected through simple push button controls.

Sometimes whole milk carries diseases such as Johnes or Mycoplasma. Pasteurisation will ‘clean up’ the milk making it a safe, nutritious feed containing less pathogens but retaining important antibodies.

Where the milk is thought to be ‘safe’ and ready to feed, the farmer simply selects the ‘warm up’ option as there is no need for pasteurisation.

The equipment, is easy to clean and the spares and service are available through any Cotswold Dairy Engineering dealer throughout the UK and Ireland.
