GREENHILL SYSTEMS – Heatguard Evolution

Heatguard Evolution is a new, innovative form of roof sheeting that is set to transform the agricultural industry.

The Greenhill Heatguard Evolution roof sheet is a robust, triple wall polycarbonate sheet with a co-extruded UV layer, protecting the sheet ad anything underneath it, impeding 98% of harmful UV rays.

The dual function athermic pigment within the sheet restricts the heat entry from direct sunlight, whilst simultaneously optimising the natural light passing into the building. This results in a brighter building, enhancing the wellbeing and production rates of livestock, with the removal of hotspots, shadowing and overheating on hotter days.

The resulting brighter environment reduces the cost of artificial lighting, leaving an energy cost reduction for the owners, and an overall more pleasant environment both to work in and house livestock.

Advantages over conventional roof sheeting for livestock housing include: athermic pigment within the sheet (UV layer) – reduced heat build up – optimum level of diffused natural daylight – improved conception rate – shorter calving intervals – improved feed intake – improved health – increased herd production – improved working environment – saving on energy and light – lowers your carbon footprint – re-engineered side laps and 10% heavier making it the strongest product on the market – shorter payback period than traditional roof coverings.
