The new Galebreaker Vent Ridge is a cost-effective, easy-to-install roofing system that significantly improves ventilation in livestock buildings, promoting better air quality and reducing disease transmission. Serving as a modern replacement for traditional cranked ridge tiles and fully closed ridges, it creates a protected open ridge that enhances natural airflow while preventing rain and snow ingress.
Suitable for both new builds and the refurbishment of existing buildings, the Vent Ridge provides the optimum exhaust area, allowing warm, stale air to escape efficiently. Tailor made baffles improve the upward flow of air and strengthen the draw through side inlets to maximise the natural “stack effect,” resulting in healthier, better-ventilated housing for livestock.
