The Training Hub is designed to expand horizons, practical experience and to introduce learning opportunities.  Bitesize training modules will be delivered in a friendly informative style.

Leading land-based training organisation Lantra will be running the Training Hub situated on stand P102 in Hall 3 offering CPD/taster sessions and exhibiting in partnership with three organisations.

Experienced industry professionals will be on hand to offer advice in between the sessions and Lantra’s Head of Agriculture, Andrew Palmer, will also be available to answer any questions you may have about training and qualifications for yourself or your staff.

11.00am – Session 1 – An insight into Mobility Scoring

Trainer and Mobility Mentor David Yoxall from Embryonics will be sharing an insight into Mobility scoring.

12.00pm – Session 2 – Hearts, Minds, Bellies and Wellies

Alix Morley, NFU Farm Safety Specialist, will be sharing what we need to know about Health and Safety on farms as well as understanding more about mental wellbeing.

14:00pm – Session 3 – How we can better understand Cow Behaviour

Dr Nicola Blackie from the Royal Veterinary College and a licensed Cow Signals master will be sharing how we can better understand cow behaviour.
