The Gold Cup competition, sponsored by NMR, is the UK’s top national dairy award that recognises dairy businesses for all-around excellence. It was first launched in 1920 and has been won by some of the country’s most influential dairy farmers.

A record number of dairy herds qualified for the 2025 Gold Cup through milk recording channels, meeting qualifying criteria, or through nominations by dairy discussion group leaders.
Five dairy businesses have made the final line up in the 2025 NMR RABDF Gold Cup. They are:

The winner will be announced at Dairy-Tech on February 4, 2026.
Presentation of the Gold Cup, along with other breed specific and lifetime yield award winners selected from Gold Cup entries, will take place on the NMR stand at 4pm.
