Can you rely on the analysis of your forage to build a suitable diet for your livestock?
If your forage analysis is carried out by a member of the Forage Analysis Assurance Group - then you can have confidence in its reliability and consistency.
Forage from grass, whole crop or maize is one of the most economic feeds for ruminants, especially dairy cows. Knowing the nutritional properties of silage is key to formulating diets that optimise livestock production while minimising adverse impacts on the environment, e.g. reducing greenhouse gas and ammonia emissions.
FAA Group operates a proficiency testing scheme to provide quality assurance for its member laboratories and ensure consistent and reliable silage analysis.
