Adding new functionality to the automatic footbath control box will allow users to monitor settings and performance remotely from the farm computer, laptop, tablet or smart phone. The function links users directly to their web-based control centre which regulates and monitors performance as well as remotely controlling various features. They include updating control box settings when not on farm, predicting chemical usage, sending alerts when chemical is running low or empty, informing which chemical is in use that day and providing real time information for example, number of cows using the footbath. The system also allows a Hoofcount engineer to login and resolve any issues without a visit to farm. The new function is offered on all new Hoofcount footbaths – Standard, Excel and Robot, and can also be retro-fitted to existing units.
