Biocel has developed a novel teat dip Nuvosan TeatGard representing a new generation of teat care products—combining citrus-derived polyphenols and organic acids—to protect udder health naturally, while maintaining excellent skin condition. Mastitis remains one of the most persistent and costly challenges in dairy farming, affecting both productivity and milk quality. The economic impact stems from treatment costs, discarded milk, reduced yield, and welfare losses. With increasing restrictions on antibiotic use and growing consumer demand for natural, residue-free milk, there is a clear shift toward sustainable hygiene systems. Most importantly, used pre- or post-milking Nuvosan TeatGard helps reduce the incidence of subclinical mastitic infections and Somatic Cell Counts as vouched by numerous satisfied farmers.
