Bokashi is Japanese for ‘well fermented organic matter’ and is the most efficient way to replenish the soil with organic matter.
In contrast to traditional compost there is virtually no CO2 emmissions and the energy is retained. This makes Bokashi the most environmentally friendly method to recycle green waste effectively and increasing the sustainability to the farm and workplace. By fermenting all fresh organic matter (Examples include FYM, slurry, vegetable waste, grass, leaves, cuttings etc.) according to the Bokashi method, savings can be made on both the cost of transporting the waste elsewhere or removing the waste and buying in new fertiliser.
Bokashi composts provides the optimal nutrition for the soil and its microbiota.
